One of the guys I work with here in Mississauga (rides a 600 Ninja) knows I ride a VFR. I have worked with him for over a year and we talk bikes almost daily. Casually this morning he mentions that his Cousin that lives in North Bay has a VFR, like mine..... Thought that it might have crept into conversation a bit sooner, like when he found out that I have a VFR. :fish:
Anybody here living in North Bay with a VFR that has a cousin in the GTA?

Worked on a nightclub in Thunder Bay years ago, only thing I remember is the plane landing on hard packed snow, that was an experience!

North Bay not too far from Toronto, Thunder Bay.... a bit more.
I used to work for an American company based in Raleigh N.C. and they would constantly ask if I could take a quick drive to a client in Thunder Bay for a service call that afternoon. Couldn't get that it was a longer drive (by a few hours) than it would be to drive to Raleigh from Toronto. "But it's in the same province as you" would be their argument. They even asked if it was far to Winnipeg as it's just over in the next province.... used to shake my head and try to explain again.

Might head up to the North Bay area for a cruise sometime this summer. I'll let you know if I do revguy, maybe do a loop through the 518.

My attempt at humour. Port Arthur and Fort William were two smaller cities that amalgamated back in the 60's some time to become Thunder Bay. Back then, the area was known by the peeps around there as "The Lakehead"

You are forgiven. Most people would not have pi med up on that unless they are old as dirt and from the area. I have never been there myself but remember my parents speaking of it and going there.

Then again, I do vaguely remember you g to Niagara falls with the family riding in Dad's brand new '59 Chevy Belair when we lived in Winnipeg.

Confused ... is he in North Bay or Thunder Bay with the VFR??

TBay is only a 6 hour ride from me, and a great ride!

Haha... I was wondering. I saw Thunder Bay in there, and I'm like ... well that's a hell of a lot closer to me than North Bay! LOL!
