The automotive industry will make and market what sells. I can see a real refinement of electric hybrids where smaller, more fuel effect engines drive generators at a constant RPM. Full on electric cars, the perform anywhere near the level of their ICE counterparts is just science fiction. Just because you can pass a law doesn't mean you should or that it will have the desired effect. You might end up with a Cuba and lots of older grandfathered 50s vintage cars.

This thread made me think about the I Robot movie with Will Smith. He has a ICE MV Agusta. The woman in the movie thinks he is crazy for riding something that runs on gasoline! Old dangerous technology. lol

Ran across this 5 minute video regarding local, state, and federal government examples of attempts to limit the use of privately owned vehicles in the States.

I can see this issue in the US leading to the NRA becoming the NCA (National Car Association). Guns will no longer be the hot button of conversation...I can see the tshirts now, "You Can Have My Car When You Pry It From My Cold Dead Hand"

That would be near impossible BB. Electric would be O cc.

We would all end up with chapped lips in short order with electric bikes. Not good
