So several months ago I fried my second R/R , burnt up a battery and caused some other damage to the electrical system somewhere. I did basic trouble shooting, replaced battery and R/R but was still blowing a fuse every time I turned the key. Looked for a direct short and unhooked a couple components : Fuel pump, and another item on the same fuse. Didn't really have the time or space to continue working on it so I relented and took it to a local mechanic that works on Motorcycles but is NOT a Honda dealer. They are now telling me they "think" it's the computer but aren't sure. In my quick research I'm finding that this PGM / Computer is no longer available. My question is have others had this same problem and is there another bikes "PGM / Computer" that will work, or possibly an aftermarket part? Bike is a 98 VFR 800 Thanks Marv
