One of the reasons I don't use this camera anymore is that I have a DSLR (D40 with pretty much the same two lenses) the other is with film you have to be a little more picky on what you shoot. You can go through a roll pretty quick if you're not careful. With digital, you can shoot almost forever and can end up throwing half your shots away and doesn't cost you a thing! I'm not looking for anything for the gear, well at most a case of beer perhaps. I prefer it to go to someone who will put it to use.

The short version here is pop that camera and those lens' up on CR for a case of even Bud Lite and they will be gone within hours.

I recently sold my old Nikon 300 2.8 EDIF lens. It weighed a TON and was sharp as a razor. I still have some Nikon glass but have been shooting Canon for about 14 years. Canon went full frame sensor 2 years+ before Nikon and I had clients wanting the higher res files so I went Canon. Canon has some excellent optics too. I was a film Nikon guy for a very long time. Still have a few old F3's and a F4 around somewhere. Sold a F3 to a friend a few years back who is shooting B&W with it.

I love my F3. So well made, great features, and designed by Giorgetto Guigiaro, who designed the lotus esprit, alfa romeo guilia, 1965 mustang, the list goes on.

I may be interested. I'll see if my niece still has her darkroom equipment. If so, I may get back into black and white film, just to smell the chemicals again.

Thought I'd revive this thread with some pics I've taken lately. I think they are all cell phone pics. I haven't used my dslr in so long!

Wrong time, wrong place or ET could have posted selfies.

Sorry Pete! No cell phone. I am compiling a booklet on 99 things that can be done with a selfie stick.

I always figured somebody would make a sequel to ET with him/her returning as something close to Alien.

i must admit I personally hate them - almost to the point if someone sticks one in my face they will find it snapped off...

So would you buy using one on say a Nikonos or a point and shoot in an Ikelite housing when having a go with a 500lb Grouper or a big Moray Eel? Those Aussies ain't got nothin on critters just below the surface..

I wonder how many gallons of green paint it took to get all those bushes looking like that.
