I am tweaking my rear pre-load setting for the first time. I noticed the adjuster knob wobbles a bit. Is this wobble normal?

I set it counterclockwise all the way and then 7 clicks clockwise to standard, according to the manual. I am 195lbs and I have about 20+ lbs of gear in the side bags and tail bag. Any initial setting recommendations?

"Knob Wobble", "Knob Wobble", "Knob Wobble". I don't have anything useful to add, just think it sounds cool. :)

Hmm - is the pre-load adjuster actually working?

If you are not sure then turn it fully in the direction marked + (it is a good idea to add some paint alignment marks and then carefully count of the number of rotations it takes until it reaches the max setting - at which point it should stop. That will allow you to return the suspension settings to where they were originally.

I think it was only something like 15 rotations from min to max - so don't go mad - if it keeps going round and round then it sounds like the adjuster is not actually connected and further investigation is required to work out what has gone wrong.

It is working, ...my concern is that it wobbles, like it might be broken. I just wanted to know if that is how they are.

Oh if it works but feels somewhat loose then it sounds exactly the adjuster on my VFR. A bit wobbly is probably nothing to worry about.
