VF500F Front Wheel Not Straight

    Hey All,

    This is probably a really stupid question, but my front wheel is not straight on my VF500F. The handlebar mount (the grey box on top of the triple tree) is turned quite noticeably to the right while driving to keep the wheel straight. Looks like this might have been an issue for the PO as well, because the bars themselves are adjusted to compensate for this.

    I'm used to having old CBs, where you just pin the wheel between your legs and twist the bars until they line up, which does not work with this. Any advice? I've looked over the damn thing and can't figure out where the pain point is.

    Your suggested fix should work fine (provided the triples themselves aren't bent), but you will need to slacken off the bottom triple clamps, steering nut, axle clamps and importantly the fender mount.
