Finally, 75 degrees f. And took the girl up the local canyons to say "Goodbye Snow"!

 

To celebrate Honda's win at the COTA today I cleaned and lubed my VFR's chain before flogging her around my neighborhood circuit at speeds that drew some dirty looks then gave her and my vert a good bath when I got home.

 

Plugged a nail in the rear tire, lubed the chain,.. rode a bit

 

I had to go to the eye doctor today and thought that with that I would like to see her in a better light. Awe isn't she looking so elegant and pretty chilling next to fountain! Really I just had to get that damn fountain at the restaurant working finally now that the temps came up and they finally turned to water back on. Took 4 fricken weeks. ;-) There is a biker bar right behind and to the right of the fountain so I had to rev up the V4 a few times with all of the Harley straight pipes sounding out!;-)

Utah has an amazing season if the rider is not one that has huge allergies.:--) Like me. Oh well when I stop I suffer. 30yrs of taking allergy meds and having something to blow my nose in and the 4x sneezing episode's

 

So Sunday was my first ride in 5 months.
A big huge shout out to the Lint man for keeping my bike safe and sound in his garage.
So we went up to the “Snake” to the Rock Store around 5:30 after the huge crowds were gone, boy nothing like shaking off all the stress from my insane life.
It’s good to be home after relocating to CO the last 5 months.
Bummer I didn’t take any pictures, to much fun blasting through Muholland.
Now to get my bike up to CO to enjoy all the beautiful roads.

Bike performed flawlessly during my commute today - had mucho grande fun filtering past all the cagers at stoplights - LOL. According to this forecast I'll get to ride her all week!

 

Took it for a 260 mile romp around South Louisiana

 

I'll be abusing a rental jet ski instead of my VFR today

 

Got my basket case home and started tearing into her

Not in bad shape at all and yep motor spins freely so big step for a bike thats been sitting up

Next to locate 2000 wiring diagram and figure some of the wiring out,..

Gas is soured so starting is a bit off yet~ wanna check some more out first.

(Yes i lubed spark plug holes and let it set in a bit before i pop spun it,.. all went great)

 

Went for an incredible ride with Lint and OOTV.
Hit just about every awesome canyon in the BU.
Man what a smokin time.

This morning around midnight or so I finished putting the Auctmart fairings on I bought from a member here. Jeesh, what a lot of work!!! Drilling, pushing, pulling etc! But, they are on. All in all, they look pretty good, but there are a couple places where I'm either missing a screw because I couldn't get it to line up, or I had to substitute.
Then this morning Duccmann and OOTV and I rode the canyons of Malibu. Fun fun day!!!

I see you have those nasty "Road Snakes" In Cali as well. They are ok until it hits above 85 and the tar turns to glue to f..k with your confidence. ;-)
