will a 6th gen tank fit on my 5th gen?

    this is a little project for down the road a ways, but my tank does not fit the conventional standards of beauty. i'd like to replace it eventually, with a nicer looking red tank. i have seen some cheapish 6th gen tanks. just curious

    I believe they will fit, however you will need to fabricate an adapter for the hinge. The bolt spacing is greater on the 6th gen I believe. I think Tink on here did this very thing.
