Yes. The CB-1 has slightly milder cams is really the only difference as far as I know.

Said it before, but they will not blow your mind in the engine performance realm. A CB-1 or a 400RR. Same way a Hawk GT is fun. They just get there in very different ways. But the chassis is psychic... Think it, it is doing it. I have ridden a 250RR and a 400RR.

BUT... They are just fucking cool in a different way. A gear driven, small displacement, inline 4 that BEGS you to wring it's fucking neck and then asks, "Is that all you got... PUSSY?"

STILL want a 400RR. It's just everything. That motor. Those headlights. Those goddamn taillights... the best ever (see VF1000R). The sweet fucking bodywork. Give me a fucking break.

Same reason I'm still side-eyeing 93-94 CBR900RRs even with a stupid chain driven cams. But they have gone into a different price level for anything decent now.

Re: swapping out that Green tank on my new White bike....for the correct colour tank.

Was trying to buy a White tank from a FBMP seller in Indiana --- but he stopped conversing with me after one reply to me about a possible transaction. My guess is he didn't want the hassle of shipping it. A shame because I could have made it very easy for him and the tank looked to be in decent condition. Oh well....

Plan B was addressing a dent on another White tank I had already purchased last year so I could use it.

After some failed attempts using a slide hammer I decided just to fill it with Bondo and re-paint.

Tomorrow I start with the Bondo process.
