Replacing the o-rings ,while a bit of work, will obviously be a good investment for the future.

I suspect I will be doing the same for some of mine that haven't been run in a while.

    Good luck! ;)

    You got this.

But it is more research, procurement and preparing a good work area than praying.

At least it is an inline 4. I perceive those to be easier to re-locate when completed than a V4. It will be all good. CMSNL or Web!ke for orings and things. There will be tariffs but you will get exactly what you want. You could also cross reference part numbers and see what is available in the US. Either way you got this!

    Thanks guys!
it just bums me out, I JUST did it all last year!!
it only sat for the winter, what the heck?
I did manage to find the "unobtainium" part!!!
I really think that it is just that one o-ring , but since I found the tee with a bunch of o-rings (shipping from UK AND tariff ) I just got it for a spare anyway.

    I'll post photos...
I'm just talking some time to let it all soak in

If it is leaking from an o-ring that was replaced last year, it seems likely it was made from rubber not suitable to the task.

Damage from install is possible, but I feel like it would have reared its ugly head before now.

    ^^^ Agreed.

I always use o-ring lube on a rebuild, no matter the application as well. Same with coolant hoses and insulators. Never caused a problem and always helps on installation. It is easy to cut the o-rings on a dry install in my mind.
