I put on Conti Road Attack tires on my bike. IMO they are better than the stock bridgestone bt-021 I think that it came with.

bought my tires online at motorcycle superstore. 150 cheaper than at my local powersport store. I bought pirelli diablo stradas sport touring tires. paid 265 for both. Just be careful who u take them to mount and balance them. Many places near me scratch the hell out of ur rims. Avergae price if u take the wheel off and take it to them is 30 dollars to mount and balance each tire. if u want them to take the wheels off the bike and reinstall them they charge 140. Do it yourself alot more you will learn about ur bike and its easy.

Just put on Bridgestone bt021's yesterday. No complaints yet. I did allot of research and these and others. The Bridgestones sounded like they were just as grippy as any other sport touring tire so the reason I went with them was the fact that they have a dual compound rear tire for better mileage.

I got a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas. I like them fine. 6,000 kms (3750 mi) and I'm just starting to see some wear.

Just chunked the stock Dunlops about two weeks ago that came with the bike. Replaced them with Dunlop RoadSmarts. Definitely a night and day difference, being that the RoadSmart for me has been one hell of a confidence inspiring, excellent handling tire. I am much more confident with these skins when it comes to whipping the bike into and through hard turns and/or cornering.

I'm not sure whether the tire being dual-compound has anything to do with it or not, but the RoadSmart seems to dissipate crappy road vibrations and turbulent bumps very well. I'm not getting nearly as much of the annoying vibration-resonance as the stock tires had either.

I only have about 500+ miles on these treads; but so far I am very impressed!

    P. S. Purchased them from Motorcycle Superstore and got a great price + free 3-day shipping.

That might be the perfect combo for me. what kinda of mileage you getting.?
also do you find Diablo sticky enough for reasonably aggressive riding say a track day? I just love Corsa III but only got 2500miles on rear with amount of miles i do that tire just isn't going to work economically.

Runing Qualifers from and rear - rear is wearing out after 3500 miles. I'm gonna break down and go Roadsmart on the rear with the Qualifier front. I'm tired of replacing the rear twice as often as the front. Well see how it goes. Anybody know the best deal?

Well this is my first set chomper. I'm around 2500 miles and 4 track days.

The Diablo is not a aggresive as the DCIII, but I can't fit a 180 on the 97's rear (well you can ,but it kills turn in).

The Diablo came in a 170 rear.

So far the tires are wearing fine.

2500 miles!? What type of pressures are you running?

running 40 in back 34 in front. Iv got to point now i ride slow as hell off the line and stay smooth as possible on straight sections to save rubber. in corners i try to get my heavy throttle done while still leaned over. corsa III have held their profile much better than conti RA but less overall mileage . have a few big trips planned this yr i dont think i will be able to use corsa III
    unless i pack a spare .
thanks for the info let me know what kinda mileage you get out of that combo
    Cheers

I recently had Michelin Pilot Roads put on...the new shoes are an improvement over the worn Dunlop Roadsmarts. I like 'em.
