can anyone help me out I think it is more then the starter solenoid causing issues. my initial issue was my bike refused to start period unless I pop started it but afterwards would run fine no issues. I took the starter off and thank god the bearing was spinning in the case not as it should roll freely so that is being looked at. Now to the most current issue I found how to hook up the starter solenoid but now each time I hook it up I instantly blow fuses can someone help me please

How do you know your original solenoid was bad?

You might have mistakenly switched positions of main harness wires that go to the fuse panel with the 2 wires (one is ground) that send power to close the starter motor contacts.

    Study your wiring diagram.

I have everything sorted out the R/R shorted out. the solenoid was bad also tested it before buying a new one. I am currently sourcing a R/R right now for a decent price and plugging the 4 wires that go to the solenoid incorrectly shorted out my clutch diode but should have the parts in soon. thank you all
