I was finished with the free build and still found something to change out.
My stovepipes look so weird, a tiny pipe on the top, and the big ones at the bottom. I'd rather change that around to get a more agressive look, and it doesn't do anything more than look good :)

Was quite difficult because my exhaust hangers don't match up for some weird reason. They also didn't in the beginning, but hey, it looks hella sexy right now :)

Man, those pipes look crazy! A bit more sound than the stock ones, I'd guess?

I guess, I bought the bike with the exhaust so I've never heard the stock one, but it sounds so good :)
Those are jama(?) laser dualtone pipes, but I can't find more info about them, and they seem to exist in numerous versions with db-killers and welded hangers etc.

Looks great, TC over at VFRW had a set with a supercharger, sounded amazing.
Yah stock, the bike sounds like a sewing machine

I put a nice crack in the fairing today. :( I put a generic shorter side stand on the bike since I lowered it and the 2nd time I put weight on it, it broke. Back to stock stand. I may get a welder to shorten it someday.

I’ve got a extra shorter side stand for my 6G if you want it.

    That I wouldn’t know bud.
Easy enough to take the stock stand to a welder and have it shortened.
    Payed $20

Ridden it with the switched exhaust pipes, it's a bit louder I think, maybe because the exhaust flow is a little better because the top pipes don't have a split bend in it.

If you work on your own bike, one piece of kit that is nice to have is this. Dropped a bolt and it got stuck in the 'V' of the engine and didn't fall all the way through. This got it out.

That looks like an expensive version of the ones I have in the tools stash. If it can be shaped, and has a good magnet, it'll work. Some have lights so you can see what you're hunting for....

I rode the 6 Gen today after not being on a bike in more than a week, back issues and traveling for work kept me off. Felt good to be on two wheels, even if it was just a little cruise down PCH. Although it wasn't really cold (64F) I tried out the heated grips, only when to the second setting as they got really warm, I'll have to see how the work in much colder conditions.

Yesterday I spent a little time on the 5 Gen, making a license plate mount and the cutout for the front camera. Still have a few minor items to address before my appointment withe the CHP in February, install the stock exhaust can and the reflectors. I made the clear plastic cover for the camera but need to touch up the hole a little and should be all done. IMG_4591.JPG
