Hi there, Does anybody have some guidelines for carburettor synchronization, specific for the VFR750 year 1986? Info about the adapters needed etc? Br Rune
Special tools required. Check out carbtune . Access to vacuum ports can be hard. I put 6" vacuum line extensions on for easy access. Access to adjuster screws can be hard. Again special tool required.https://sites.google.com/site/johnsjensenhealeywebpage/maintenance-projects/4-using-carbtune
Many thanks for quick respond and info from that website. About the tools... Do you have some information about the vacuum line adaptors for each carb and special tool for adjustment screws? The manometer gauges is ok.
you'll need a glove if you're reaching into the hot V to twiddle screws. if the bike runs OK, you won't need to (and don't) turn any screw more than about 1/16 turn or even less. sequence is VERY all-important. be sure to blip the throttle a couple times after any screw turn to let the adjustment settle in.
