Need input on reserve location. Obviously I don’t have the body work on but a preview would help.

on a side note I have the plastic rear fender in and I even clean and painted the support bracket. Chain installed as well. Bling! image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Also do I want to the heat shield between the front of the carbs and radiator? I couldn’t find it in my parts to go back on. I might have to steal from 7hundie.

I'm thinking about a Wilbers with reservoir too, I woud prefer a place in the outside, perhaps somewhere at the left rear passenger footpeg. Just for temperature purposes.

Are you going to run passenger pegs?

No rear pegs and I was thinking maybe in the tool kit ( ? ) pocket behind the rear coils. Tools are the only thing I can think of that would go in there and I can line it with Shorai battery foam. Could care less if I had to remove the seat to adjust.

never mind it it too much bend. I guess the usual mount to sub with clamps.

Still moving forward. Penske res safely mounted, a stolen other project license plate tidy tail installed, and the tail bodywork. 2nd photo, is that the famed fuel pump whatnot to jump? image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

It was traditional to mount the reservoir for a Fox shock along the left side frame spar. Your tucked-in location looks pretty good however, I have the reservoir on my 5th gen in a similar spot but on the other side (the cable ties were a temporary fitting check!); the PO had it hung off the left side below the body where it could bash into the chainguard on a bump!

That does look like the Fuel Cut Relay. Can't absolutely guarantee on your bike, but it will likely be the 2 dark wires to jump.
