A little progress. Resprayed the plate mount and seat lock.
    image.jpg image.jpg

A small snag. I only have the ignition key but it does not work for the seat lock. Anyone have a key and seat lock?

Remove the break-off bolts and get the key number off the lock/latch.

If you have some nice fresh vise grips, they will pop loose pretty damn easy.

I think I have only had to lefty-loosy with a chisel one time.

Sweet, thanks! They are threaded and I twist or literally break them off?

I tried using the flash light at every angle but could not see a thing. Sounds like a next weekend proj.

Still waiting for my gaskes and whatnot.

OKI and Okidata refer to the same brand of printers, with "Okidata" historically used by the American subsidiary of Japan's Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. Known for durable dot-matrix and LED laser printers, the brand stopped selling new hardware in the Americas in 2021, but continues to support, service, and supply consumables for existing, highly-regarded professional machines.

When they are installed new, they have a narrow-waisted section that breaks off the hex head when a certain torque is reached. That way someone can't simply unbolt your helmet lock to steal your helmet and/or see your key # easily.

You need to remove the bolt by the what is left of it. Fresh Vise-Grips usually suffice easily. I have done it dozens of times. When removed, you can read the key number. Last 3 digits, this one is "C54"

Water pump spins with crank, so no locked up badness. More cleaning and new OE gaskets going on tomorrow. 99F1DB03-157B-443E-AD61-621513DB00EF.jpeg

In the VTR loot boxes i found the ignition and a fuel with cap on the tank, but no key. One can assume it is the same key for all. Does ONEA11 sound like a good code?
