Rode 200 miles yesterday and the Bridgeston BT-023 tires felt great! Smooth at all speeds and the feel good in the turns. Seems like there must...
Beautiful bike, would like to have that in my garage. No reason to hate a VF500 Intercepter, they are really cool. Tell us how you found it and...
I"m just hoping that I will like the Bridgestones as much in the corners and at low speeds as I liked the Michelins.
Problem solved. The tire shop removed the PR2's and installed a set of Bridgestone BT-023's. Bike rides smoothly again up into triple digit speeds.
I bet you have some beautiful roads in NZ, would love to ride there someday. Congrats on becoming a new VFR owner!
Congrats, the 2000 yellow VFR was a rare bird, I'd love to have one myself.
Rode to work this morning after having the front PR2 replaced with another new tire. However, the bike is not riding as smooth as it did on the...

Long story short: > 2007 VFR w/8,000 miles > Had a local shop install a set of Michelin PR2's, I removed the wheels and brought them to the shop...
Very nice. Welcome to the world of VFR.
Here is a picture of the Shorai installed in my VFR800. [ATTACH]
I have never had an issue shifting into 6th gear, highway or around town, low RPM or high RPM. I have occasionally had trouble getting my gearbox...
My bet is either a weak battery or the alternator or voltage regular needs to be replaced.
Most likely you need to replace the throttle cable, they don't last forever. Cables can get rust and debris in them which will cause them not to...
Saw a blue one the other day at the local stealership, I always liked the original red but the blue was stunning. The red was on sale, a 2010...
Interesting graphics. Much better than most aftermarket paint schemes.
Thanks for your input, I'm using the Honda Chain Lube, have it set about where you are saying (where it touches the swing arm). Hopefully that is...
Definitely make sure you ride the Foothills Pkwy. It's a close second to The Dragon. The FP has wide sweepers and nice places to stop at various...
I'd always go for the cleanest, lowest mile bike you can find or stand to wait for. The one you found close to you, with 8,000 miles and had been...
