How many miles? 5th gens have an 8k recommended spark plug change interval, have yours been changed?

Could be vapor locked. Check the carb vent hoses.

That's a very realistic number for our bikes. :thumbsup: I'll have to find my dyno sheet but I believe mine was all over that number.

The 5th gen was made 98-01. In 2000 they added o2's, cats, and lost the "choke". You won't see a bit of difference riding those 4 years. Unless...
