Project 41 looks fantastic, Joe! The blue seat is not something you usually see on the White bikes, but it does look different in a very cool way!
Ha - I have all kinds of repair materials incl. a plastic welder but nothing beats having one that was never broken so can't hurt to ask, right?
Interesting - I will take another photo this week showing them upright side by side. I think these were less $ than the Bridgestones, too.

How exactly does the cowl fasten onto the seat, other than the 3 tabs (one rear and two side)?

This is the normal (no cowl) Frankenstein bolt.....no part # I know of. Does that bolt above (#11) take it's place when the cowl is attached?...
