    I agree with you. Having to replace a cam chain tensioner is not the end of the world. just about every bike being mass produced these days has one.

    next time try hooking the spring at both ends prior to attaching the centerstand. I used to do this all the time.

    You would need the 94 F2 triple clamps to go with the forks. I believe the 94 cbr F2 forks were cartridge as all previous years were dampening...

    The VF's all had adjustable rockers. The VFR's have shim under bucket valve actuation if I remember correctly.

    Clutch lever / 2nd gear issue

    Did you try to adjust your clutch lever so you don't have to pull it so far to disengage? the stock lever is adjustable.
