you also have to add some ride height to the rear to compensate for the smaller 17in. wheel.
personally I think a 160 is plenty of tire for that bike.
Having worked @ Cycle Gear I know you can get almost any boot out there from them. A Stars, Sidi etc. Did you look through any of the catalogs...
I run a 160/60-17 on mine.
right you are Slo. I meant 3rd. gen. The 8 spoker was a 5.5in I believe.
180/55/17 is the stock size on a 4th gen.
