    As stated above likely a thermostat, or maybe an O2 sensor... A side note....waste of $$$ running 93, these bikes only require 87 :wink:

    Check the battery. Mine would start and run a few minutes, the FI light would come on and it would stall. I checked the RR wires and they looked...

    2001 '800FI-Y hesitates upon acceleration, then clears and goes like a train :)

    These motors are full of torque...but they are setup to come in around 5000 rpm (ie mid thru upper rpm torque). Honda used to put the VFR750...
