Doesn't the '86, not having a fuel pump, have two separate carburetor fuel inlets, each feeding one pair of carbs?

Finally got a a very nice day, sunny, 64 deg. Rolled the VF out for the 1st time this year, warmed it up, rode a 75 mile loop. Felt good! :happy:

Just for grins, connect a multimeter to the battery and see what kind of reading you get, should be a steady 14 volts give or take just a bit.
A bad (faulty or dirty) MAF sensor will throw the P0300 code. Unplug the MAF and see if that eliminates the problem. If it does, try cleaning it...
