I jack on collectors and oil pans (with interfaces) all the time. Shit I even jack up 86 VFR using the headers. Have for years with zero issues.
Cool! I would still do a test of course.
I'm sure I can't say what the goal actually was.
It doesn't "have to go", you can create a stop and it can tuck up higher. I have a 500 center stand where I cut a slot in the top of the eyelets...
I HIGHLY recommend you add some fuel and let the tank sit over some newspapers for at least a week. You will likely need to incorporate an o-ring...
I think I noted the difference in those two VFR systems was 5 lbs. 14lbs down to 9.
They still used a collector on the Gen 3 (on the left). Now that sucker is (was) heavy. Replacement Gen 4 headers on the right. [ATTACH]
I've always been so jealous of the FII cowls... Like a little 1000R.
haha! I was joking, I thought they were funny. A quality set of slip-ons, made for the bike by a known company will not automatically cause...
Pretty clever, but what sealant did you use? I should also ask, did you incorporate an o-ring in your design?
Not me. I was just given one a few weeks ago.
I have some thoughts... just need to get "noise boner" and "suspension boner" out of them before I respond.
Oh yeah. I guess I was looking at the oil cooler fittings... never mind. I'll let myself out. [ATTACH]

It takes a while when using your phone for it to upload. To the piont where you think it's not gonna happen.
Cool. This site doesn't like photos from external links. Use the "Upload a File" button on the bottom right for your photos to show. Right now...
Greetings and welcome! You only had one chance to put a pic in your first post. We like pictures. Cheers!
That black chrome will very hard to hide any touch up or rework. If you find something that isn't flat or matte, I suppose it will look better...
Some of these too... [ATTACH]
Who's garage is that and who is taking the pictures? :)
