The OEM R/R does run hot.... Mileage wise, you are probably far from any charging issues, but it doesnt hurt to check.... Got a multimeter?...

The charging system is the Achilles heel of these bikes. There is lots and lots of threads on it. If you don't have a multi meter, now is the time...
