That's what I was looking for. Thanks!
I have seen several posts about adjusting rear shock settings but what I haven't seen (or found, anyway) is where on the shock I would find the...
Man, that is one clean bike! Too bad I didn't know what you were up to, I'dve come over. What you gonna do with the old shock?
I have a friend who used to park his 97 VFR in the dining room year-round.
I made that ride a few years ago when I lived in Everett; very kool. The other route I've enjoyed up there is Arlington to Darrington, then to...
Congrats on your purchase! Even though I have a '94, I do like the looks of the 5th gens.
33 years riding here, guess that makes me a 'senior' at 39.
My experience has been that if I have alot of A and C, I don't have alot of B.
I went from an 88 CBR1000 to a 94 VFR (4th gens RULE!) and I can push it around just fine. I've had it to 155 and can ride it all day; plus I...
I was thinking of heading out to Satsop to the old unfinished nuclear power plants. If you haven't been, it is a 'trip'. I haven't been there for...

Take the r/r to the dealer and have them test it: they have the correct ohmmeters to test it. VFRs are notorious for r/r failures.
Not so weird, you know me. Stop by Home Depot tool rental and say Hi.
When did this happen? Today? Man, I hate having to work weekends.
Nice solution.
yes but not my first sportbike. I had a 98 Hurricane 1000 before that. The VFR was the bike I always wanted.
1993 Pearl Crystal White - NH-193P 1994 Pure Red - R-158P Those are the numbers according to my Honda parts manual. Check this link too:...
I have two: the Honda service manual and a Clymer. Use them both although the Honda one is way more in depth.
I use a Fram PH7317 filter, has the end dipped in rubber so it's easy to grip. Plus it's about 3/4" longer so a little more filter surface.
