I've had my '99 at the track a few times, it's a heavier bike but still a blast to ride around screaming along at 9K, the sound is incredible....
It's a good bike if you can get it going nicely. I swapped in '85 1000R forks, wheels, brakes and swingarm to my '84. There are some shock options...
