say 16 in the front is stock and the rear stock should be 43 so you've just drop one tooth...but anytime you go down on teeth you gain top end and...
very nice write up but the running out of grip when it reaches the edge, i have to disagree there i have had no problems with grip on the out side...

ouch bro sounds like yours has been affected by the oiling problem these bikes have, not to sure but the lifter needs to be replaced and the cam...

as soon as i find the right one i bought the one you see in the picture off ebay and it was listed as a CBR wheel turns out its a VFR wheel cant...

yea the bike first pictured is a over sea's VF500F2 the spec2 doesnt look like that.

hey guys just saw this on ebay figured any one looking for a solo cowl would like it, it will fit all years 500's VF500 83-85 SPORT...
first thing's welcome to the forum fellow VF500 owner next thing crank case on the only repair for that might get by with some jb weld for a temp fix
