i had their fender extender years ago for a Fireblade - also hated the tape so used Black silicone instead - it never came off.
What is your budget? Do you have space to put it somewhere safe? A cheap 2 man pop up tent will cover most options
do not buy a 2010.... Get a 2012 - after the model update I think they also fixed the fueling issues .
2010 is common-ish with crankshaft issues. It WILL REQUIRE a new engine - walk away & find a better one
