I feel it is a fair and just rule. I don't think podiums made up of a combination of Honda's and Yamaha's is good for the sport in the long term....
That is the only downside of having a really nice machine. I won't leave mine unattended anywhere. It does take the fun out of it sometimes.
Not getting on the podium and having access to the concessions is what all the factories are working towards.
