Look at the rail of the exhaust. You will see a tube and a small bolt with a tack weld file that weld off remove bolt pull out tube.

All Hondas about that age on fi were a bit rubbish at very low revs, usual work round was use a different gear. Maybe your needing everything...
The” harder” touring type tyres operate far better than “sports” tyres at cooler temps due to having more silica in them.
Check your charging system Ideally it should be reading around 14.5 v @ 5k revs with lights on main beam.
Check the diode, could be faulty.
If you go to their website, it comes with both adaptor straight to a battery or crocodile clips.
