2006 Honda VFR 800 VTEC: a few modifications and a return to perfection
plastic in between the headlights is painted the same color as the body, not just black, after 2005...
and the vtec dissengages much lower (6100 rpms) to avoid it feeling like a toggle switch if you happen to be holding at 6400 rpms... cruising at...
the 2006 and newer vfr's have a lower vtec transition point to smooth out the cross over from 2 to 4 valves. i think they dropped it from 6800...

i dont think there is too much of a need for a pc on the 5th gen's(especially the 98-99's). as they have pretty good fueling...if you have exhaust...
dont sell the highmount or left side exhaust short. i love the way the highmounts look. there are other less extensive options out there...
