OK, maybe your tire pressure gauge is off ? Chinese ?
maybe wrong, but i'd suspect that failure was due more to underinflation than to age.
it's important to state your bike's mileage/kilometrage to know what maintenance it might need.
^^ the factory service manual is excellent for identifying hoses and their routing and connections.
