Vfr light is best but makes chat difficult to read with some colors.
All 87's were an F2, 86 models came in an F1 (RWB 700 and 750) and an F2 (Pearl white 700 only) and the faring mounts are the same for F2 on both...
The clutch covers do not interchange from 86 to 87 and is a very common problem that will cause this as well as the starter gear spacer falling...

The battery on these things is just enough to get the job done, a little age and cold weather is all it takes to take it down.
I know I am beating a dead horse again but the RWB bikes really do need white wheels. Was the very first thing I did to my bike.
Unless you plan on putting on some serious miles I would pass on it an pay as you go for services. You will be money ahead to be sure.

There is an emblem on the frame just below the tank with the year printed on it that should clear up things a bit. White wheels are a must as well.
