when i needed to do forks i improvised like this, needed nothing more. blocks under oil pan, jack under shock link [ATTACH]
ive been there, ya know :cool: anybody with these bikes has been bitten by bad fuel pumps or relays or r/r's often more than once.
test the pump by blocking the outlet hole w your thumb to see if clicking stops. if it doesnt, suspect internal valve damage or a clogged tank...
idle jets arent clean, probably all thats wrong. if u left gas in carbs during storage (instead of draining bowls) its very likely the idle jets...
the wood pucks must reduce heat transfer into the brake fluid u'd guess.
the filters should handle a little debris, right ? and its always best to run the carbs out of fuel then drain them b4 storage, every time so u...
