avoid alloy rear sprockets as they wear out quickly.
K&L are good, chinese is bad. just cleaning them up a little, and inspecting things, you may not really need carb kits.

they're caged balls, not loose. inspect races too for dents or grooves. mileage doesn't warrant replacement unless damage is found.
according to symptoms, carbs probably need attention, and steering head bearings need inspection/regrease, bible says they're due for service...
no need to remove pulsers for testing, just go to their plug connectors.
try reducing plug gap from .035 to .030. the wider gap needs alot more voltage to fire, and that could strain the electrickal system.
if the plugs look wet, they're not OK. could be a carb problem or weak spark.
make sure the choke isn't sticking ON, and inspect the plugs when it stalls.
