yes, after 1 or 2 days the bowl gaskets may swell and seal again. you'll need to keep gas in the bowls by pushing the starter button occasionally.

Nothing special about it, must be corroded, use penetrating oil + heat. or use impact driver.
Crush washers may be bad. the more you bleed the mc, the crusheder they get.

see if you're getting +12v at the plug going to pump. yes, pump has a fuse.
