    Badge Pic-Sweet!!

I visited my dealer and they told me they could order me one, but I would need marriage counseling to go with it! THey don't plan on getting one unless it is special order.

I'll let you know the VIN when I get my bike. My dealer is still saying mid-February. Do you have any pictures?

I get the feeling that those who like the RWB is mostly due to the "retro" "nostalgic" emotions...

The black wheels don't do it for me and I like the overall classiness of the red better. BUT I can't help but get emotional over the once again "retro" scheme.

Question? Should I get the bike that I think looks the best? Or should I get the bike that has more specialness for lack of a real word?

Ride what you like to look at. I liked the RWB so I bought it but not because it was special... that was just a bonus!!!

It looks pretty good in person, but the local dealer here wanted nearly $1k difference. It didn't look that good and I preferred the solid red anyway ;) Didn't think about it until just now, but it could have been an ABS version which would account for part of the price difference.

The anniversary edition also comes in black, or more to the point, Crystal black which is a special metallic paint job, not sure if you can get it your side of the pond but i have one, its a very deep metallic finish, only available 06 and early 07 so i've been told. As to the RWB, be nice to have the choice at least as we didn't get that over here in Europe.

the RWB paint option lists for more, doubt it costs $1K more to make, but it is white, mask blue, then decals.

What's the point in spending a large sum of money for a bike unless you get the color that you really want? You will never be fully satisfied with your purchase. I could have gotten a leftover '04 for $3000 less than my RWB, but then I would forever have been saying I wish I ...........

    Colour scheme

Well I don't actually know how many members are making a comment on the colour they see on a photo, but see one in real life, the pearl blue, stand out white and classic red and it doesn't matter who you are, you'll just have to say, "man, that's a good looking bike!".

    machedice

just bought one in Aussie land but would like some Interceptor stickers as it doesn't have a name over here, just 'limited edition".
