2007 VFR is crapping out!

idunno man, they did screw it up and we all know it. The cam doesn't just jump teeth for no apparent reason. I can appreciate that you obviously don't wanna fight with them and are happy that your baby is fixed BUT that is total bulls&^t. They know they screwed it up and yet they still made you pay more. If they honestly don't believe they screwed it up they should never work on bikes again because they're useless. Sorry but this kinda stuff just PMO. Complete incompetence and the biggest reason why I do everything myself. I would be writing a letter to Honda and requesting what makes them competent to be working on Honda products. Now that you have your bike safely in the garage start a fight and win.

 

Great thread. Having the same problem exactly on my 2008. Was trying to contact John directly but was quite sad to hear of his passing from a motorcycle accident in the hills above Malibu. RIP brother. Ride safe all.
