3rd gen seat cowl

Does anyone know if a rear seat cowl cover off of a '95 VFR750 will fit on a '93 VFR750? I know of several changes that were made between the 3rd and 4th Gens of the VFR750 bikes, but not sure if Honda changed the overall design and layout of the seat. Do you think the tabs on the 4th Gen cowl cover will slide into the tabs of the rear cowl of my 3rd Gen? I really want to add one of these to my '93.....but I see a lot more listed on Ebay that come from 4th Gens. Also, I checked Honda's parts website, and they show it as a part you can order for the 4th Gen....but not listed in the cowl parts for the 3rd Gen bike...even though my rear cowl has tha slots for one.
