    That is such BS
If they don’t rectify it I’d go on Yelp and give them a scalding report and warn others not to do business with them

Also what OOTV said about going over the bike with the manager and taking pictures is big time insurance for you.
Did it when I took my bike in to have my PCV installed and good thing I did —- made a point to take a picture of my dash to prove my FI light wasn’t on.
Guess what? It was on when I went to pick it up—- three weeks later they were still scratching there heads. Went in and talked with the owner (Eli) at Wheels In Motion and he actually replaced my ECU at no charge—- now that’s standing behind your work and what any shop should do for loyal customers.

It's all Good! The Mechanic apologized and said he had forgotten about that piece.

He began working on it as soon as I got there, and everything done in @ 30 mins. I checked it out before I rode away

Although a little more than I would likely spend, unless I really didn’t feel I had the time, the tools or the aptitude for but as long as you’re happy and the end result is good, that’s all that really matters IMO.

I am happy. My VFR sounds Amazing, and they also verified that all my Valves were within specs while they had the engine apart. It was definitely more $$ than I had planned on spending but then again how much is Peace of Mind worth

Well now you know you won’t have to deal with a valve inspection!
