Hello all - I'm trying to get a quote for shipping a 2007 VFR800 engine and tranmission. Before I take the bathroom scale out to the garage, I thought I'd check with the guys who'd know how much this assembly without throttle bodies weighs. I searched google and the 5th gen and 6th gen forums, but haven't been able to find an engine weight. Thanks.

I remember some one doing a compairo with the VFR engines vs. the cbr 1000. could have sworn I recall the viffer motor is 154 lbs, its what sticks in my head. not sure which version they where referring to. thinking there's not much between the two in weight.

Thanks again, RVFR. I'm guessing that 154 lbs is going to be close enough for me to at least get a shipping quote. 150ish pounds is about what my butt dyno measured when I moved it from the pallet to the engine stand.
