    Funny, I had a '90 Katana 750 with those exact same tires. Hopefully I'll have to make the decision next Monday or Tuesday.. :smile-new:

    I got some good use out of those metzlers. great tires only thing I had to complain about was the fact that it had about 20 million bacon strips on the front tire. But I like them, too bad i crashed around 5k miles so it's sitting in the back and i still don't know how far they would of lasted.

    I have now put about 500 miles on the Avons and they are doing great. I have no complaints at all. I will do all I can to report back about how they do in the long term. Oddly, I have had a couple of fronts that wore a lot more on the left than the right. See if the Avons are any different.
    I do not get the same wear on my other bike.....hmmmm.

    Of that 500 miles, half was in the rain. No scarry moments. Mind you, I did not try to push my traction limits either.
