To All 6th gen VFR800 owners,
I have been on the A&A performance mailing list for any news of a kit for the 6th Gen Interceptor.
I just got a message yesterday with a you tube clip of the kit installed with a Dyno run.
That is the most awesome sounding VFR800 VTec I've ever heard. When I win the lottery I'm getting one for my 2005 VFR800.

The genuis maker (Dan) is a member here as well, his member name is "toro1." We've had a bunch of threads on him over the years, but until now, I had only heard that the 6th gen kit was in "the works" but now it looks like he is coming a lot closer to market it. Looks bad :ass: with that pulley peeking out...

Yep he sure is a member, he's just much more active there at VFRD. Some of the images and data are pretty awesome.

Yo guys -- I was just about to post a new thread about the kit when I came across this one already started, so thanks for the enthusiasm!

Anyways, the ability to bolt on 55-65% more power to your '02-'09 VFR800 is finally here.

Stock internals. Stock appearance. Minimal modifications necessary. Unmatched rideability. For a 6th-gen owner seeking considerably more power, look no further; the A&A Performance 6th-gen supercharger kit combines big power with seamless operation, all while hiding behind the stock bodywork. If you are thinking about buying a larger displacement machine, but do not want to part with your VFR, a 55-65% boost in power might just be what you are looking for, and this kit will provide just that.

And NCB was just crying in chat last night about no content going on here....

Amazing craftmanship and very professional video. Extremely impressed!

The only thing I can say - Some sort of screen cover should be made for the body cover where that pulley is. I can just see someone talking to their buddy with the bike idling in a driveway as some kid sneaks behind your back and sticks their finger in there.

I hear you. Ultimately, you just have to be careful. It would be difficult to supply customers with a mesh that would work, as no two fairings will be cut exactly the same way (you have to trim some bodywork away in that vent area) and space is very tight near the pulley. If that is a legitimate concern, though, I'm sure a custom solution could be figured out.

Suggestion for you Toro, I'd consider supplying the kit with a piece of screen. If the end user chooses to use it or not becomes their problem.

kind of like garage door light sensors. people bypass them all the time but it's no longer the manufacturers fault.

Wow, that's about 20% less than the 5G kit started at.

The engineering, packaging, thought and presentation that went in to this kit looks amazing. Really nice work Toro.

Same power as the VFR1200 but with less weight for several thousand dollars less than the price of the new bike, and that's including the cost of an '02-'09 VFR800.

    I'd call it a total no-brainer if you want a V4.

That's my line of thinking, too.

A 6th-gen with this kit won't have the torque of the 1200 down low (as 781cc & low boost can only do so much), but it will have a 30+whp advantage up top, which, when you factor in gearing & weight, should make it considerably faster.

I just found out about this kit myself and looked on here and found this thread. I'm willing to be a test victim for this and am currently taking donations so I can purchase it. For anyone that donates, I will provide a full write-up and report and if you are ever in Vegas, I'll let you take 'er for a spin!! I know this is too good of an offer to pass up, so hurry up and make your donations now!!
