Not a real big trip, but for a Midwesterner the scenery was really nice... It was about 40 degrees out when I stopped by this field for a picture. Rode through Lowden/Miller State Park. A nice newly paved road with a hint of fall color in the trees. I stopped by the river in Dixon, IL. Stop at Castle Rock State Park. White Pines Forest. Lowden State Park. I'm noticing more wind power here in Illinois. Some weird "humps" in Cherry, IL where everything else is flat. It was a nice 350 mile ride, and with winter coming soon I really enjoyed the fall colors.
