A Wax Assembly replacement how to?

Last owner had the idle set screw zip tied so when I went to use it, I twisted the whole piece and sheared off the cable.
I know it's connected to the wax assembly and figured a how to on replacing that would help me get to the start of the set screw cable.

I found some old threads on it but the links in them don't seem to work anymore.
