Yes, all sandy instructions will be included. Extra sparkles for muh Stuka.

I'm all for riding full-time. Would be amazing thing too...bring in VFRW peeps from around the world into it when we meet up for rides. Would be the freaking life right there!!!!

The honor belongs to you all for welcoming me here all the time and this trip...

Sneaking Marrib's hot water. Doubly Marrib...striking again on muh way back. He forgave me though, shared his dark meat, and even cracked open his homemade wine for me....best wine I ever tasted...before kicking me back outside.

Breaking Long and hurting Stuka's bottom line.

Lints putting up with me for three days...sleeping on Duckie's cushions and making him ride with me...annoying him with all my "WOWs and HOLY COWs!!!"

All your support and laffz you give, VFRW. Best place on the interwebs!!

I hope to be of some help to others who may experience long rides and conditions like this!

I feel Honda could really benefit from bringing back that very true slogan...and peeps would definitely see it in action with the things that happen on long rides...so many wonderful people in the world!!

Thank you! Yes, the conditions were unlike anything when I was in Canada. Think your daughter and her class may rename me Elsa?

Love it!! As long as there is space right beside it for muh main man moto. That beast never once failed to start, idle properly, or run in those ridiculous conditions. Amazing machine!! <3 <3

LOL - now THAT'S an indicator of just how truly AWFUL the conditions must have been out there!!!

Seriously though, thanks for the incredible write up and fantastic pics AM!!! I am promoting you from "Highway Star" to "Road Warrior". I will look at my own pearly white VFR with new respect knowing what this machine is capable of. And if I ever find myself in a similar situation - I hope to hell not! - but if I do I will remember your saga and draw inspiration from it to keep on going :peaceful:

P.S. You need a Speed of Travel Chill chart that goes faster than 85! :witless:

It's going to drop into the 50's here in s Florida. Can I borrow the heated jacket? Lol
I have rode in the upper 30's in the mountains a few times without heated gear and was fine for a few hours before having to stop and warm up. Can't imagine the cold and length of time you endured.

Girl, you are a tad on the crazy side. I have ridden in 20ish degrees and it sux. I have ridden in the snow and it sux and I busted my ass. When I originally saw your plan, I thought you meant to come out after winter, not during winter. You might try visiting us in the summer. Perhaps around Memorial Day???

I'll be out there in May. :)

Not crazy... just a lot doesn't bother me.
Adversity is usually only temporary. The whole experience was worth it.

    BUT...riding in May I hope I really love!! <3
Would be nice not to wear 80 layers and burn. :)

Well it shouldn't be as cold as what you went through here just now but there is a saying "The coldest winter I spent was a summer in San Fransisco" Author unknown*.

*Although attributed to Mark Twain, he did not actually say this.

I heard A* is coming out with a new line of bullet-proof heated vests specially designed for riding in San Francisco :beguiled:

Of course here in Orlando we're slated to get the non-heated version :beguiled:

This is Cory from Deming, NM.
He helped me and moto's chain debacle.

He came from the north and we actually had a huge laff that he sports the wears and vanity tag on his truck...pisses off the Cowboys fans in the area, he delightfully shared.
