    Considering the source, I will definitely take under advisement. The bike is fully operational! Some quick updates:
    • Replaced the rear tire (see separate thread) BattlaxBT45
    • Replaced chain (DID Gold) and sprockets (used 45/16)
    • Fixed the loose left hand grip (Hondabond)
    • Fixed the missing tab on the seat cowl (plastifix comes through again)
    • Repaired the front cowl - right turn signal - where the cowl was delaminating (note: photo shows this pre-repair)
    Had a small bonehead incident (see separate thread) and next on the agenda:
    • Replace front tire (it's here - just need to get it on the bike)
    Ride the bike some more locally then take it up to the mountains!

    factory maintenance schedule sez steering head bearings need cleaning, greasing, adjustments at specified intervals, something else to check. if the bike has over about 35k miles, they need replacement.
