It is kewel to get to your destination and say to somebody, "WOW, I made the enitire trip here without putting my foot down". Now if the person your talking to are familar with you, or they are motorcyclists themselves, they will understand. If its just the general public you would probabably get a weird look.

I used to do all that stuff but finally got smart and retrofitted training wheels from a Harley shop to all my bikes and now it's feet up all the way. All the way to WalMart that is..

Maybe you could meet Gopher at the WalMart, where he could give you the specs on a trailer for your 1200, then you could haul around a bunch of five gallon Jerry cans behind you for when that Shamu runs low on petrol.

And don't forget the small crane you'll need to pick it up if you ever drop it. (I just can't seem to help myself.)

And by the way, Bear, your latest avatar has got me all boned up.

Funny one regarding the speed bump thingie. I was duck walking my vfr in the garage. Just cleaned the concrete floor with simple green. Foot slipped and down went the vfr on top of me. Let me tell yah, a 500 # plus bike laying on you is tough to crawl out from. Glad it happened before body work was painted.

I like to pit the two voices in my head against each other and see who can come up with the craziest command to my muscles. Makes for an exciting ride!
