This is the racing forum, right?
The next MotoGP season is around 2 months away. Lots to talk about with all of the team changes.
Rossi's wearing red now. He is riding Ducati with our buddy Nicky.
Stoner is riding red for Honda with Pedrobot.

1000cc bikes seeing more action in 2012.

Making plans for my yearly pilgrimage to Laguna Mecca in July.

Winter won't last forever, and racing is almost here!

It already looks like he and Nicky are communicating. I read a bit where he said he was happy that he did not have to hide his data even from his team mate.
I bet Stoner is not experiencing the same. I am very interested to see how the Honda team rides together this season. Stoner has a lot over Hayden, and we all saw how that worked out. I bet Pedrosa is concerned about his place on the podium with Stoner right there.

OOOO, I just get giddy thinking about it.

(not about Pedrosa losing, but about the new season as a whole)

It looks like it's going to be a great season. I, too, am looking forward to watching Vale on the Duc, as well as the Honda team. I was going to try to make it to Laguna this year, but my family has scheduled a reunion in Michigan.

    Ben's Pies!
I do not doubt that the same folks will be out front. The colors and numbers on their bikes will be different.
I am hoping to see different folks on the podium, or at least some of them more often than last year. I grew to like Stoner over the last season(even got his autograph). I am happy that he is on a Honda.
I also hope to see everyone more healthy this year. Too many injuries and illnesses last season.

Collecting intel as we speak, the goal will be to get the the number one plate this season, instead of just a podium spot. If I can just get IMOTT right this year.......

I don't think Jimmie Johnson will win his sixth championship in a row this year.

Denny Hamlin took last years loss so hard I think he will shoot himself in the foot this year and may not be a contender.

Can't wait. As a Pedrossa fan, I think that having Stoner on the team will give Pedrossa that little bit of extra incentive that he sometimes needs. Spies will have an even bigger impact than last year and we should find out if Ducati's issues last year were bike or rider. If Rossi can't handle it than maybe a person can finally say that Duc needs to go back to the drawing board without getting flamed, because I suspect that last years problems were not Stoner's; could obviously be wrong though.

If Dale Jr. can't improve this season with his new crewchief then it's probably time he take a year or two off and go race dirt track. Needs to find the heart to win and compete without whining all the time. I don't think Steve Latarte will take any of Dale's shit like McGrew and the others before him.

    Geoff Gordon's GAY.

havcar makes some valid points. If anybody should be able to make the Duc work, it is Rossi. It will be interesting to hear the commentary throughout the season.
